I am befuddled when people who call themselves Christian ignore the wails of living, breathing children to “save” frozen embryos.
That’s a lot of energy going to the freezer.
As a result of your actions, you’ve been assigned a pop quiz testing both your knowledge and faith in Christianity. The quiz is multiple choice except for the last question, which you can answer in a short paragraph for extra credit.
This quiz is based on information found in The New Testament of the King James Bible, as Christianity is based on…Christ. He does not appear in the Old Testament.
The quiz also reflects your ability to reason. Read each answer carefully.

A) Yes
B) No, they’re the business of God alone.
C) It depends on whether it’s a man or a woman.
D) Some things are my business even if God says they are not.
4) If someone commits a sin which makes me upset or angry, I…
A) Tell them they’re going to hell.
B) Tell them it’s a sin, and to repent.
C) Say nothing.

The next section of the test concerns #WWJD, or What Would Jesus Do?
5) You and Jesus are walking together and find a freezer with human embryos inside. Next to the freezer, a young child is crying and in distress because he’s hungry. What would Jesus do?
A) Open the freezer and try to save as many embryos as possible. There is only one crying child and there are many embryos.
B) One of you tries to save the embryos, the other finds something for the child to eat.
C) Pray for the embryos.
D) Lift the child in your arms and comfort him, then immediately find food to relieve his hunger. Embryos cannot be saved, because they don’t have lungs, which you need to breathe.
6) In the Holy Land right now, thousands of children are starving, thirsty, living next to raw sewage, sick, and without any medication. Many are orphaned. What would Jesus do first?
A) Take immediate action to end the war and their suffering.
B) Say, “Well, they’re Muslims not Christians.”
C) Work hard to save embryos in the United States.
D) Pray to God to help the children.

B) Tell the woman she should have the baby and work a third job right after she’s given birth to her fourth child.

9) True or False: Jesus loves Christian people best.
A) True
B) False
10) True or False: Jesus says an embryo is a person.
A) True
B) False
EXTRA CREDIT: Because Southern Baptists have taken up “embryonic personhood,” it means Christ became a person on his conception, not his birth, as the Bible says.
